On Tuesday, 27 May 2025, we introduced a self-service checkout at our clinic, which many of our patients had been requesting for a long time.
Accepted payment methods include cash, various credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express, PayPal, Rakuten Pay, d Pay (d-Barai), au Pay QR codes, Suica and Pasmo.

Additionally, from mid-May, we will issue new consultation cards with barcodes required for payment at the cashier. Please ensure you bring these with you for every appointment.

Should you encounter any difficulties, our staff will be happy to assist you, so there is no need to worry.
Even if the operation may seem a little unfamiliar at first, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Please be careful not to forget or lose your new advisory card.
If lost, a fee of 110 yen (tax included) will be charged for reissuing the card.
However, replacement due to damage, magnetic interference or name changes is free of charge.

If you suffer from respiratory diseases such as bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or sleep apnoea syndrome (SAS) caused by snoring, and require examination and treatment (CPAP), please do not hesitate to contact him.

Measuring exhaled NO with NIOX VERO helps us in many ways:
1) Asthma diagnosis: It helps us to diagnose asthma (assessment of inflammation).
2) Choice of therapy: We can better predict whether inhaled steroids will be effective.
3) Monitoring: We can monitor the progress of your treatment.
4) Intake check: It helps us to check whether the medication is being taken regularly.

We have replaced our old analogue X-ray machine with a new digital system.
We now use the compact and modern digital X-ray system from Canon Medical Systems (‘R-mini’ and ‘CXDI-Pro’).
The biggest advantage: with the ‘CXDI-Pro’, we can reduce the required X-ray dose by approximately 60 to 70%. Despite the lower dose, the high sensitivity allows us to obtain very clear and sharp images for a reliable diagnosis.
The images are ready very quickly, and thanks to modern technology, the resolution is excellent and provides us with optimal support for accurate diagnosis.

Our ECG (electrocardiogram) is now digital too. We are keeping pace with digitalisation in healthcare.
We will continue to strive to use the most modern equipment in order to offer the best possible medical care here in the region.

New Regulations for Reimbursement of Chronic Disease Treatment

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) is adjusting the medical service fee schedule effective June 1, 2024.

Due to this significant change, we will henceforth charge a "Lifestyle-Related Disease Management Fee" for patients whose primary diagnosis is a lifestyle-related disease (high blood pressure, lipid metabolism disorder, or diabetes). This aims to ensure more comprehensive and holistic therapy and care.

As part of this adjustment, the previous "Specific Disease Management Fee" will be replaced by the new "Lifestyle-Related Disease Management Fee."

This has been instructed by the government to enable improved, individually tailored care based on treatment plans.
For this purpose, we will create a government-mandated "Lifestyle-Related Disease Treatment Plan."

This plan will help us establish treatment goals together with you, thereby optimizing treatment success.
